His passion is surfing and whenever he can, this Right-Coast surfer heads to the Jersey Shore or Long Island to surf.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Recently he has been completing the production of &lt;span class="hilight"&gt;Liquid Fitness&lt;/span&gt;, the first science based performance enhancement program for surfer's and other board sports. He is also developing an &lt;span class="hilight"&gt;Everyday Athlete Kids&lt;/span&gt; program that will bring the concepts he teaches to wider range of young people than is currently available.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Tomas is recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Integrated Flexibility Specialist. In addition, he spent three years mentoring under the skilled instruction of Wil Rivera (of Grass Roots Fitness Project), who is widely held to be one of the best trainers in New York.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Tomas is a graduate of Oberlin College where he majored in English. He is also a graduate of Brooklyn Friends School. He has experience teaching elementary through high school level students, as well as adults.
